ASC has introduced game suspensions for misconduct, which applies to players, coaches, parents, and spectators, and emphasizes the importance of respecting referees and participants.
A letter from our vice president…
Coaches and Parents,
I’m currently attending the BWNYJSL League meeting and want to share some important updates regarding disciplinary enforcement for this season.
This year, in addition to the standard fines for yellow and red cards, the league will now enforce game suspensions as a consequence for misconduct. These new policies apply not only to players, but also to coaches, parents, and spectators. No one is exempt — inappropriate behavior may result in fines and even suspension from attending games as a spectator.
Please take the time to speak with your players — both girls and boys — about the importance of showing respect to referees and all participants. The league has made it clear that there will be zero tolerance for misconduct of any kind.
We all play a role in creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for our players, referees, and families. Your support and cooperation are essential.
Thank you for your continued commitment to our teams and our community.
