Our Mission

Alden Soccer Club is committed to providing a safe, positive, and development-focused environment for all players. Volunteers are essential to creating a welcoming soccer community built on respect, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Role of a Volunteer

Volunteers support the club in many ways including:

  • Field and equipment setup

  • Game-day assistance

  • Event and tournament support

  • Team support and logistics

No experience is required—just a willingness to help and a positive attitude.

Volunteer Expectations

All volunteers are expected to:

  • Follow Alden Soccer Club policies and procedures

  • Support coaches, referees, and club leadership

  • Communicate respectfully with players, families, and officials

  • Refrain from coaching or officiating unless assigned

  • Model good sportsmanship at all times

Safety & Conduct

Alden Soccer Club follows US Soccer and SafeSport guidelines to ensure a safe environment for youth athletes. Volunteers must:

  • Respect personal boundaries

  • Avoid one-on-one unsupervised interactions with players

  • Report any safety concerns to club leadership immediately

Zero Tolerance Policy

Abusive language, disrespect toward referees, coaches, players, or spectators, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
