Heading

Heading is not allowed for players through U11 in accordance with U.S. Soccer guidelines.

Sportsmanship

• Players and coaches must not argue with referees
• Respect for all participants is required
• Coaches are expected to model proper behavior

Development Over Winning

Game results are secondary to player growth and development.

The build-out line is used to encourage skill development and playing out from the back.

• Opponents must retreat behind the line during:
  • Goal kicks
  • Goalkeeper possession
• Goalkeepers are not allowed to punt the ball
