Statement from Alden Soccer Club – June 12, 2025

To our Alden Soccer Club families and community,

Earlier today, a young player made a comment of a serious nature that raised immediate concern. While the remark may have been made innocently, we recognize the importance of taking any such comment seriously, regardless of intent.

At Alden Soccer Club, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all. In accordance with our zero tolerance policy, we responded promptly and appropriately, following our established guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

As a youth-focused organization, we have a responsibility to consider the comfort and security of all players—both young and old—as well as our referees, coaches, parents, and families. We want to assure you that any concerns have been fully addressed.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we work together to maintain a safe, positive space for our community.
